About Kes

Kes is an Ocampa. She was robbed and enslaved by the Kazons. The cruel owner of Kes was a brutal man. Kes's friend, the trademan Neelix joined the Voyager Crew and rescued her. Kes returned to her homeworld. But then she made a decision.

She and Neelix joined the Voyager Crew to guide their new friends through the dangerous space. Neelix did the cooking...

... and Kes become the crew's nurse. An Ocampa life time is very short: Only 8 to 9 years. So any Ocampa can learn a lot in a short time. That is why kes became a good help for the doc. For the patients, Kes is a bless: The Doc is harsh, but she is allways kindly.

Her friendly and kindly nature, and not at least her physical attraction have ensured, that anybody of the Crew likes her.
